The food system consist of a wide-array of actors, the first step is the growing demand which is answered by primary/secondary producers, food itself goes through a dozens of steps, depending on the level of processing,packaging, distribution and the last is after consumption, dealing with foodwaste and waste management.
All participants have to cooperate with various other stakeholders, like agricultural, medical, marketing and political sector.
A big part of my life revolves around food 🙂 It plays an important part in my work, my educational and social life as well. Wholesome, healthy food should be a basic right for everyone, because what you consume serves as the building blocks of your body and influences your overall health – short and longterm.
